The AILET 2027 result has not been announced as of 27 October 2026. NLU Delhi has scheduled the examination for 13 December 2026 and its current FAQ does not yet give a result date. When the result is released, use the official AILET website and the result notice linked there; do not rely on a predicted date, a social-media screenshot or last year’s timetable. The result matters because it provides the score and rank information used to identify candidates invited into NLU Delhi’s admission process, but it is not itself a seat offer.
Where to check and what to keep ready
Start from NLU Delhi’s official AILET website, then follow the AILET 2027 result or candidate-login link published there. Use the same registered email address used for the application as the user ID. The university FAQ says the registered email cannot be changed; if you cannot remember the password, the portal provides an OTP-based recovery route. Keep access to that email and the mobile number on the application until admission work is complete.
The result announcement will specify the process and documents available for that cycle. In the 2026 cycle, NLU Delhi published an official result notice on 18 December 2025 and directed candidates to obtain their scorecards through the candidate login. That is a useful example of how the university has handled a previous cycle, not a promise that the 2027 result will be released five days after the scheduled exam. The 2027 result date and login instructions remain unannounced.
When the portal opens, follow the fields asked for, download the official scorecard and save a local copy. Check that the name, application details, programme, score, rank or category information shown on it are consistent with your application. Keep the PDF and a copy of the result notice. If a field appears wrong or the scorecard does not load, use the contact details in the current notice or FAQ and retain a screenshot and application number for your query. Do not publish personal login credentials or share an OTP with anyone claiming to retrieve your result.
Read the scorecard in context
AILET UG is a 150-question, 150-mark examination with English Language (50 questions), Current Affairs and General Knowledge (30), and Logical Reasoning (70). The published marking rule awards one mark for a correct answer and deducts 0.25 for an incorrect answer. Those are the examination rules, not a result-year cutoff. A raw score tells you how many marks you earned under the paper’s marking scheme; it does not, by itself, prove selection or guarantee an invitation to counselling.
Use the exact labels printed on the 2027 scorecard. If it shows an All India Rank, category rank, or other field, distinguish those values instead of treating them as interchangeable. A category rank describes position within the relevant pool, while the admission notice may use a specific rank list or category list to decide whom to invite. The current-cycle notice will govern. NLU Delhi has not yet published the 2027 result format, the list of scorecard fields, any score normalization method, or the counselling invitation threshold. Do not assume that an unofficial “expected cutoff” is an official qualification mark.
The 2026 result notice is an example of the scale and process, not a predictor: it reported 22,532 candidates appeared for the B.A. LL.B. examination and made result information available through the official process. That number is the prior cycle’s appeared-candidate count, not the 2027 applicant pool and not the number competing in every category or counselling round. It should not be converted into a personal probability of admission.
What happens after the result
For AILET 2027, the result and counselling schedule are still pending. Watch for a separate counselling or admission notice after results. NLU Delhi has historically used invitations and provisional merit lists, with category-wise handling and deadlines stated in cycle-specific documents. In the 2026-27 cycle, the university issued an invitation notice and subsequent provisional merit lists after the result. Those dates and fee amounts belong to that completed cycle and should not be reused as 2027 instructions.
An invitation means that you are being asked to participate in a time-bound admission step; it is not a final admission offer. Read the notice to see whether you must register for counselling, submit documents, pay a counselling or confirmation amount, or respond to an offer by a deadline. The prior-cycle counselling notice described a provisional offer process and document checks. For 2027, wait for the actual notice and check the fee, refund conditions, required documents, payment window, and consequences of missing a deadline.
If your name does not appear in an early list, do not conclude that the process is over unless NLU Delhi says so. Further lists may be published if seats remain, but their timing and movement are not assured. Continue following official notices and make a separate plan for other applications rather than treating a possible later list as a certainty.
If the score is lower than expected
First verify the scorecard and the official answer-key or objection notices, if issued. Follow the specified objection process and deadline; do not assume that a general email or social post counts as a formal challenge. NLU Delhi’s 2027 result instructions will determine whether any score query or answer-key representation is available and what evidence or fee is required. If no challenge window is offered, the scorecard and published admission rules remain the operative records.
Then assess the result against the programme, category and rank list stated in the current counselling notice. AILET is specific to NLU Delhi’s process; a score should not be represented as a universal law-school qualification. Review other institutions’ own admissions pages for their accepted examinations and application routes. For the next AILET attempt, the score can help identify which paper sections need more practice, but a single result does not diagnose every preparation issue.
A practical result-day checklist
- Open the result link from NLU Delhi’s official site, not a copied third-party URL.
- Log in with the registered email and current password or official recovery route.
- Download the scorecard and result notice, then verify the displayed details.
- Note every counselling or representation deadline from the current notice and calendar it.
- Submit documents and payments only through the official route described for AILET 2027.
As of 27 October 2026, the confirmed next milestone is the examination on 13 December 2026, not a result announcement. The result date, scorecard fields and 2027 counselling schedule should be treated as pending until NLU Delhi publishes them.
