NTA publishes CUET UG results and scorecards; participating universities use those scores within their own programme admission rules. A CUET score is not an admission offer or a universal rank for every course. After checking your scorecard, confirm the papers and details shown, then move to each university's admissions portal for eligibility, merit lists, counselling and deadlines. The official portal lists the CUET UG 2026 scorecard page, published on 23 June 2026. CUET UG 2026 scorecard page · CUET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin
Find and save the official scorecard
For the active cycle, start at the CUET UG website and open NTA's result or scorecard notice. Use the link for the correct exam year and enter the credentials requested by the official login. Download the scorecard, read the instructions and store a backup. Do not submit login credentials to unofficial sites or treat a third-party estimate as the official result.
The CUET UG 2026 portal provides a page for the 2026 scorecard and identifies its publication date as 23 June 2026. A later cycle will have its own notice and link. Do not expect a result date to repeat from year to year: the initial 2026 application notice said result timing would be announced later, and subsequent official updates controlled the release. Check what the score means
Read the scorecard field labels and the current bulletin rather than relying on a generic explanation. CUET uses subject papers, and the university may consider a specific paper or combination for a programme. Some papers can be held in multiple shifts; the bulletin explains the score compilation method for such cases. Raw marks, NTA score, percentile, rank and a university's merit position are not automatically interchangeable. Keep the name of each paper and the score measure together when reviewing your result.
NTA's 2026 bulletin states that the NTA score is valid for admission to the 2026-27 academic year only. A score from that cycle should not be presented as valid for a later admission year unless a new official rule explicitly says so. If any personal detail or paper score appears inconsistent, follow the grievance or result instructions stated in the bulletin and notices, with their deadlines.
The bulletin says results are processed based on final answer keys and that there is no re-evaluation or re-checking of the result. It also instructs candidates to download their scorecards; NTA does not dispatch a scorecard. This makes it important to review the published answer-key challenge instructions before their deadline and to save your final scorecard once it is available. Do not assume that a post-result request can reopen an answer-key challenge.
Result does not equal admission
The NTA result is one stage. The bulletin states that appearing in CUET does not confer a right to admission. Universities and participating institutions handle admission to their respective programmes, apply programme eligibility and other criteria, and issue their own merit lists and schedules after NTA declares scores. NTA says it has no role in preparing those merit lists. CUET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin, result and admission provisions
After the score is released, revisit every programme on your shortlist. Check whether you must register separately on a university portal, select preferences, upload documents, pay an institutional fee or complete verification. Record the admission deadline for each course. A candidate can receive a valid NTA score and still miss a university's separate application or counselling window.
Do not interpret a score in isolation as an admission prediction. Universities can use different subject combinations, eligibility rules, category provisions, seat availability and allocation rounds. Compare your result only with published information for the same programme, category, campus and round, and treat historical closing figures as context rather than a guarantee. See the separate cutoff and counselling guidance for how to assess those institution-specific decisions.
What to do after downloading
- Check your personal details and each subject score against the scorecard and the official instructions.
- Save the document and note the academic session to which NTA says the score applies.
- Check the participating university's current admission page for programme eligibility and the CUET papers it uses.
- Complete separate institutional registrations, preference forms, document uploads and fee steps by their own deadlines.
- Monitor merit lists, allocation notices, document verification and reporting instructions for every course you would accept.
If two universities publish results or counselling rounds on different timelines, manage them separately. Accepting or declining one offer may affect choices elsewhere under that institution's rules. Read the official offer and withdrawal conditions before committing, and keep proof of submissions and payments.
If the scorecard is unavailable or appears wrong
Use the current NTA result page and instructions first. Confirm the application number and credentials, check whether the release applies to your paper or candidate group, and try again through the official portal. For a discrepancy, follow the route and time limit in the current bulletin or notice. Keep a copy of the scorecard, application details and relevant answer-key information. Do not assume a university can change an NTA score or that NTA can resolve a university merit-list issue.
The next cycle
The sources reviewed here establish 2026 score and admission procedures but do not announce a 2027-28 result date or score validity rule. Check the next information bulletin for validity, score calculation and rechecking rules, then follow NTA's live result notice. University processes and deadlines should be checked independently for the session you intend to join.
