SNAP 2026 admit card: release dates and test-day requirements
The SNAP admit card is a test-specific document. For SNAP 2026, the official schedule lists three separate release dates: 7 December for Test 01, 11 December for Test 02 and 18 December for Test 03. The corresponding tests are scheduled for 13, 19 and 26 December 2026. These are dates for the 2026 test cycle, whose score supports selected MBA admissions for the 2027-28 academic year.
SNAP is scheduled as a computer-based test. The timing for each attempt is communicated through its admit card, so the test date alone is not enough to plan arrival. Download the correct card from snaptest.org when it becomes available and use the printed test number, reporting time, centre name and address to plan your trip. If you selected more than one test, keep the cards separate and check that you are carrying the one for that day.
Check the card as soon as it is released
Confirm that your name and other identity details match your original identification document. Check the test number, date, reporting instructions and centre address. If information appears wrong, contact the official SNAP Secretariat through the candidate account or contact details on snaptest.org as early as possible. Do not edit the card yourself or assume that an incorrect test date or centre can be changed after fee payment; the official test-city page says change requests are not entertained once the registration fee has been paid.
Download the card from the official SNAP site and print it. The official instructions require the admit card to be carried to the test centre along with original photo ID. A soft copy of the identity proof is not accepted. The acceptable originals listed by SNAP are passport, driving licence, voter ID card, PAN card, Aadhaar (UID) card and college ID card. Carry the original document, not just a photocopy or phone image.
The instructions also require a recent passport-size colour photograph to be pasted on the admit card in the designated place before the test. It should be no more than six months old. Check this requirement before test day so you have time to arrange a compliant photograph.
Centre authentication and later admission use
At the centre, an authorized person verifies and authenticates the admit card against the original photo ID. Keep the authenticated card after the test. SIU says it is important for the later GE-PI admission process, and that without the authenticated admit card a candidate will not be permitted to appear for subsequent selection stages. The official instructions say no duplicate will be issued if the authenticated admit card is lost. Store it safely until the admission process is complete.
The SNAP scorecard is also important for institute selection, but it is a separate document issued after the test. Retain both the authenticated admit card and scorecard. The card’s role does not end when you leave the test centre: it can be needed again if you are shortlisted for a programme’s Group Exercise and Personal Interaction.
Plan the journey and entry
The official guidelines ask candidates to reach according to the time stated on the admit card, before the test starts, for security checks and identity verification. Entry is not allowed after the test has started. Locate the centre in advance, ideally the preceding day, and plan transport and accommodation where needed. Allow time for traffic, centre security and the possibility of a confusing venue entrance; do not rely on arriving at the last minute.
Candidates cannot leave the test hall until the test is complete and cannot re-enter after submission. Phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in memory or calculators, and electronic gadgets including smartwatches and fitness bands are prohibited in the hall. Read the latest instructions on the official card and website because centre requirements control the day’s entry process.
If you have a disability or fall within a category for which SNAP requests supporting documents, the official instructions ask candidates to upload relevant documents while registering. Check your candidate instructions early for the accommodation process and required proof. Do not assume an accommodation or extra time without following the published procedure.
Quick checklist
- Download the admit card for the correct test number from the official website.
- Print it and check your personal details, date, reporting time and centre address.
- Paste the required recent colour photograph in the marked space.
- Carry the printed admit card and one accepted original photo ID.
- Keep the authenticated admit card after the test for possible GE-PI verification.
- Review prohibited items and plan to arrive before the time printed on the card.
- Recheck snaptest.org for official changes before travelling.
As checked on 27 October 2026, the admit-card release dates are scheduled in December and have not yet occurred. The schedule can change in unavoidable circumstances. For SNAP 2027 or later test cycles, wait for a new official notice rather than assuming the same release pattern.
