SNAP 2026 result and scorecard: date, use and next steps
The official schedule sets the SNAP 2026 result announcement for 12 January 2027. SNAP 2026 is the test year; the score supports admission to selected Symbiosis International (Deemed University) MBA programmes in the 2027-28 academic session. As checked on 27 October 2026, the tests are still scheduled for December and no SNAP 2026 scorecard or final percentile has been released.
The official SNAP test page describes the scorecard as the candidate’s official result and says it is important for the subsequent selection process. Save and print it after release and keep it with your authenticated admit card. The official instructions say to retain the scorecard until the programme is completed if admitted. Registration guidance currently states that the result will be available on snaptest.org until 12 February 2027. That window is cycle-specific, so download a copy while it is available and keep your own record.
What the result does and does not decide
The SNAP score is used as an input to programme shortlisting. The official overview says a candidate is shortlisted for Group Exercise and Personal Interaction based on the overall SNAP percentile. Each institute runs the process separately for each programme and calculates a separate cutoff. A scorecard therefore does not mean that every programme has shortlisted you, and a shortlist for one programme does not automatically apply to another.
The 2026 rules allow a candidate to take up to three tests. If a candidate takes more than one, the highest score is considered for the final percentile calculation. This rule identifies which test score is used; it does not guarantee a particular percentile or admission result. Do not add together attempts or average marks unless the official candidate instructions explicitly direct you to do so.
The official overview gives the final-merit framework after GE-PI: the SNAP score is scaled from 60 to 50 marks, Group Exercise contributes 10, and Personal Interaction contributes 40, for a total of 100. This is a post-shortlist selection model, not a direct conversion from raw test marks to a seat. Each institute’s merit and wait-list notices control the candidate’s status. Do not interpret the exam score alone as the final selection rank.
How to check the result
On or after the scheduled result date, visit snaptest.org and sign in through the official candidate route using the credentials associated with your SNAP registration. Confirm that you are viewing the SNAP 2026 scorecard and verify the identity details and score information printed on it. Save a digital copy and, if useful, a printout. Keep your SNAP ID and registration confirmations together so you can retrieve the correct record if you need help.
If you cannot access the portal, check that you are using the right credentials and account. Use the official query route shown on snaptest.org and retain the ticket or written response. If a personal detail or score field appears inconsistent, contact the Secretariat through its listed channel instead of altering the scorecard or relying on an informal message. Follow the instructions attached to the current result notice; this page cannot anticipate portal procedures that have not yet been published.
The official materials reviewed for this guide confirm the result date and that the scorecard is the official result. They do not establish an advance public result status, the precise layout or every field that will appear on a 2026 scorecard, or a formula that converts raw marks into percentile. Do not infer those details from an older scorecard or another entrance test. The official test page says scores published by SIU are final and are not subject to appeal or revaluation; if an official notice states a specific process for a particular issue, follow that notice.
After the scorecard appears
Check every programme’s official website and candidate portal for shortlisting. The institute will provide its own GE-PI dates and instructions. If selected for multiple programmes, expect separate programme processes and track each call letter individually. SIU’s overview states that candidates must attend all required GE-PI components to be eligible for the merit, wait or reject list. Missing one component can therefore affect consideration across the applicable MBA admission process.
After GE-PI, monitor institute notices for category-wise merit and wait lists, payment deadlines and reporting directions. A high percentile is not a guaranteed admission offer. Final admission remains subject to programme eligibility, performance in the institute’s selection components, category rules and timely payment of fees. The official overview says wait-list movement depends on vacant seats, so a wait-list position is not a guarantee that an offer will follow. Use only the official institute payment and communication channels; SIU says no donation or capitation fee is required.

The result and scorecard dates above belong to the SNAP 2026 examination and 2027-28 admissions. They should not be carried forward to a future test year. For the next cycle, wait for a new official schedule and result instructions rather than assuming the same date or scorecard access window.
