SNAP 2026 exam dates and application milestones
SNAP 2026 is the test cycle for selected Symbiosis International (Deemed University) MBA programmes in the 2027-28 academic session. Keep the test year and admission year separate: the dates below are for SNAP 2026, and they do not establish the calendar for a later test cycle. As checked on 27 October 2026, the official schedule lists three tests in December, with a separate admit-card release date for each test.
Test timings are communicated through the admit card. The official schedule describes the tests as computer based and lasts 60 minutes per attempt. It also says the programme and test schedule or test structure may change in unavoidable circumstances. Recheck the official SNAP website and candidate portal before making travel plans, and use the test-specific admit card as the source for your reporting time and centre.
What each date means
The 25 November deadline is the closing date for SNAP registration and payment, not a promise that every programme remains open until that day. The official instructions separately require a programme registration fee for every MBA programme selected, and require payment before that programme’s own closing date. A candidate applying to several programmes should record each programme’s deadline from the relevant institute instructions rather than assuming there is one common final date.
The admit-card dates are not the test dates. The first card is listed for 7 December, six days before SNAP 01; the second for 11 December, eight days before SNAP 02; and the third for 18 December, eight days before SNAP 03. These intervals are simply calendar arithmetic on the published dates, not a guarantee about how early an individual’s final venue or timing will be visible. The test timing and centre address are communicated on the admit card. Download the card as soon as it is live and verify which test number it covers.
The result date is scheduled for 12 January 2027. That is after all three listed test dates. The result is part of the SNAP 2026 cycle, while the admission it supports is for selected programmes in 2027-28. The result date does not provide a common GE-PI date: each institute conducts its own programme process and publishes its own schedule. Applicants should check each institute after results rather than waiting for a single centralized counselling calendar.
Fee deadlines and payment planning
For SNAP 2026, the official registration page lists a test fee of ₹2,550 per test, plus applicable government taxes, and a separate programme registration fee of ₹1,000 per programme, plus applicable taxes. The test fee is charged according to the number of tests selected. The programme fee is charged for each selected programme. Both are described as non-refundable and non-transferable. If you plan multiple attempts and several programme applications, calculate the total from those separate units and confirm the portal’s final amount before paying.
The published test registration deadline does not supersede an earlier programme-specific deadline. Complete programme selection and payment by the deadline shown for that programme. Keep each transaction confirmation and the SNAP ID associated with the application. If you use a demand draft, follow the official page’s separate requirement for the draft to reach the Secretariat by its stated time on 25 November; mailing it on the closing date would not satisfy that arrival rule.
The city and test-date selection process is capacity sensitive. The official city instructions say allocation is first come, first served and that change requests are not entertained after payment. Complete registration early enough to select among the choices still available, but do not interpret an early payment as a guarantee of a preferred city. SIU reserves the right to change or allot a nearby city if the requested city is unavailable.
Candidate checklist by milestone
Before registering: confirm you are applying for the 2027-28 intake, verify each programme’s eligibility and fee deadline, decide how many tests you intend to take, and check the published test-city list. Make sure your photograph and identity details are ready. Review all information before submission because the registration instructions say no changes are permitted after registration.
By 25 November: complete SNAP registration and test-fee payment. Select the programme applications you want and pay each programme fee before its own closing date. Save the confirmation email, SNAP ID, password and transaction references. Check the portal if a confirmation message does not arrive.
On each admit-card release date: download the correct card, confirm test number, date, time and centre, and check that personal details are accurate. Print it and arrange travel using the venue address on the card rather than relying on a prior year’s centre or a search result.
After testing: follow the official result notice scheduled for 12 January 2027. Then monitor the websites of every selected programme for shortlist, GE-PI, merit-list, wait-list and payment notices. The SNAP schedule does not publish one shared deadline for those institute-level steps.
Dates for SNAP 2027 or later admissions should be treated as unannounced unless a new official notice appears. Previous-year patterns are not a dependable basis for booking travel, paying fees or assuming that registration will open or close on a particular date. Use the dated SNAP 2026 schedule for this cycle and revisit snaptest.org for official revisions.
