SNAP 2026 registration: steps, fees and application checks
SNAP 2026 registration covers the entrance test for selected Symbiosis International (Deemed University) MBA programmes for the 2027-28 academic session. Test registration and programme applications share the official portal, but they are separate choices and payments. A SNAP test fee alone does not apply you to every MBA programme or establish that you meet that programme’s eligibility rules.
The official 2026 registration page lists a closing date of 25 November 2026 for test registration and payment. As of 27 October, that deadline is still ahead. Programme fee deadlines can be earlier or otherwise different, so confirm each selected programme’s deadline before payment. Do not assume that the test closing date applies to every programme form.
Prepare before opening the form
Choose the MBA programmes and campuses you may actually apply to. Check each current programme eligibility row, any required work experience or degree background, and the institute’s own admission information. Decide whether you plan to take one, two or three test dates. SNAP 2026 allows up to three tests; the highest score is used for the final percentile calculation if more than one is taken. Test dates and city availability are limited, so decide which options you prefer before paying.
Prepare accurate personal, academic and contact details and a recent scanned colour passport-size photograph. The official instructions say the photograph must be no more than six months old. Keep an email account and mobile number you can access throughout the admission process, because the portal verifies registration details by OTP and uses them for candidate communication. The official page names [email protected] and [email protected] as its communication addresses; check junk mail if a confirmation does not arrive.
Registration sequence
- Open the official SNAP portal and register with your details.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions.
- Enter accurate personal and academic information, then verify the email and mobile number through the OTP process.
- Save the SNAP ID and password sent after successful registration. Use the ID for later SNAP test and admission communication.
- Select the SNAP test date or dates you intend to take and pay the test registration fee.
- Select each MBA programme you want to apply to and pay its separate programme registration fee before that programme’s deadline.
- Review the portal and retain the payment confirmation, transaction reference and selected programme/test details.
The instructions state that changes will not be permitted after registration. Review the spelling of your name, date of birth, contact details, category information, programme choices and test-date choices before submitting. If you notice a problem later, contact the official Secretariat promptly and follow its written direction. The current materials reviewed for this page do not establish a general correction window; do not count on one.
Fees and payment
For SNAP 2026, the listed test registration fee is ₹2,550 per test, plus applicable government taxes. The separate programme registration fee is ₹1,000 for each programme selected, plus applicable taxes. Both are described as non-refundable and non-transferable. Three test selections therefore incur a different test-fee total from one test, while each programme application adds its own programme fee. Confirm the exact payable amount in the portal before authorizing payment.
The official page lists Billdesk, Easebuzz and demand draft as payment options. If you choose a demand draft, it must be for ₹2,550 per test, payable to Symbiosis Test Secretariat at Pune, and it must reach the Secretariat by 3:00 pm on 25 November 2026. Follow the payment-advice instructions on the official page. A draft sent by the deadline but received late is not treated as timely under the published instruction.
Keep the test fee and programme fee records distinct. A successful test registration does not by itself confirm that your programme choice is registered and paid. After each payment, save the portal confirmation and check that the relevant test or programme appears in your account. If a transaction is pending or confirmation is missing, check your email folders and raise a query through the official account process rather than paying again without checking the transaction state.
Test date and city selection
The official city page lists 79 test cities for SNAP 2026 and says allocations are first come, first served. It also says a request to change the test date or city will not be entertained after the registration fee is paid. SIU may change or allocate a nearby city if a requested location is not available, and reserves the right to add or change cities in unavoidable circumstances. A preference is therefore not an absolute guarantee.
Review the current list and select realistic options before payment. Consider travel time and lodging if the available centre is far from home, but use the centre address printed on the admit card for final planning. The test date and city are capacity dependent; an early payment improves the chance of obtaining a preferred choice according to the official page, but does not promise it.
What happens after registration
After payment, monitor the portal for test-specific admit cards and confirm your chosen programmes remain visible. Download and print the correct card when released, then follow its timing and venue instructions. After taking the test, SNAP shortlisting is based on overall percentile and each institute conducts its own further process for each programme. You will need to follow those institute notices separately; test registration is not the last admissions step.
SNAP 2026 is for the 2027-28 intake. The fee and closing dates above are cycle-specific. Applicants planning a later admission session should wait for that cycle’s official registration page and should not reuse these amounts or dates as if they were announced for SNAP 2027.
