WBJEE-2027 admit-card notice is not published yet
As checked on 27 October 2026, WBJEEB had not published a WBJEE-2027 schedule or admit-card notice on its official WBJEE page. The latest complete cycle available was WBJEE-2026. Its bulletin is useful for understanding the usual download and exam-day checks, but the 2026 timing and instructions must not be treated as confirmed 2027 rules. Check the current portal and the instructions printed on the new card when WBJEEB releases them.
For 2026, the official schedule placed the examination on 24 May. The admit card was made available through the candidate portal before the examination. The key point for a candidate is that the portal copy and the final instructions on that card control the assigned centre and exam-day requirements. A saved card from another year, an old centre list or an unofficial message cannot establish the current venue.
Download and preserve the official card
When the next cycle opens its admit-card link, reach it from the WBJEEB examination site. Sign in with the application credentials and download the complete PDF. Check that every page opens, the text and photograph are legible, and the file is saved somewhere available offline. Keep a second copy in a secure location. Do not post the card publicly because it contains candidate-identifying details.
The 2026 bulletin instructed candidates to retain the confirmation page and later use the admit card for the examination. If a login fails, use the current portal’s recovery route and the contact details on the current notice. Do not create a second application to solve an account-access problem. If the portal indicates a payment or application-status mismatch, compare the transaction record and submitted application before contacting the Board, and retain the acknowledgement for the support request.
An admit-card link not appearing before the announced release date does not by itself mean that an application was rejected. First verify the date in the current official notice, then check that the application was submitted and the fee status is complete. If the link remains absent after release, use the Board’s official support channel with the application number and a concise description. Avoid sending passwords or full payment-card details.
Check the details that affect your exam day
After downloading, compare the candidate name and photograph with the submitted application and identity records. Read the examination date, reporting time, paper or subject allocation if shown, centre name and complete address. Check that the centre information is consistent on every page. This is a practical review list; WBJEEB may change the fields or layout in a later cycle.
Make travel plans from the complete address, not only the city name. A preferred zone selected in the form is a request, not a guaranteed final venue. The 2026 bulletin allowed zone preferences and reserved the Board’s ability to assign an alternate zone in unavoidable situations. It also said a request to change an allotted centre would not be entertained. These are 2026 rules; read the 2027 bulletin for the rule that applies to that cycle.
If a personal detail or centre appears wrong, preserve the original file and contact WBJEEB promptly through the route stated in the current notice. Do not edit the PDF. Do not assume that the application correction window remains open or that it covers changes after card generation. Ask for written direction and keep the response with the card. If a revised card is issued, save that version and verify whether it supersedes the earlier download.
Prepare documents and travel using current instructions
The 2026 information bulletin describes the exam format and candidate conduct, but a future card may add or revise operational instructions. Follow the current card and notice for reporting time, permitted identification, photograph requirements, writing materials, prohibited items, late-entry rules and accommodation arrangements. Do not carry forward a previous year’s list without checking it against the current instructions.
If you need an accessibility arrangement, contact the Board before the exam using the process and deadline in the applicable bulletin. Keep any requested documents available, but submit only what the current rules require. An application declaration does not automatically establish that a particular accommodation has been approved; confirm the arrangement in writing and check what the admit card displays.
On the day, carry the admit card in the format specified by WBJEEB and the identification documents named in the current instructions. Reach the venue with enough time for entry checks. Follow invigilator directions before filling candidate details or marking answers. If the centre staff report a mismatch, show the official card and follow the on-site process rather than altering any document yourself.
What the 2026 cycle tells applicants, and what it does not
The 2026 exam date was 24 May, with the application window running 10 March to 8 April. These dates provide historical context only. As of 27 October 2026, no 2027 exam date or admit-card release date had been announced on the official WBJEE page. Therefore, a 2027 countdown or predicted release date would be speculative. Use the next official schedule to set reminders.
Likewise, the previous cycle does not confirm whether the next examination will use the same venue allocation, reporting time, identity proof list or download process. When the 2027 notice is published, confirm the cycle label on the page, compare the date with your card and revisit this checklist. The actual card is the final source for the candidate’s assigned location and printed instructions.
After the exam, retain the admit card with your application confirmation and later rank card. It proves the examination assignment, but it is not a rank, counselling invitation or admission offer. Continue to use the official portal for result and counselling notices. Do not rely on a third-party result date or seat-allotment message unless the Board publishes the corresponding official notice.
Before leaving home, make a brief final check: confirm the latest card version, venue address, route and reporting time; check the permitted items list; and keep the application number accessible in case the centre needs to trace your record. If transport is disrupted or a centre instruction changes, look for a fresh official notice before acting on forwarded messages. Keep enough time for security checks, since arriving at a familiar city does not ensure that you are at the right campus or gate.
If the printed photograph is unclear or a page is cut off, download the PDF again from the candidate login and compare the new file. If the portal copy itself contains the issue, contact the Board as soon as possible and describe the exact page and field. Keep a copy of the submitted application and the relevant notice available. A clear record of what the official portal displayed helps support staff identify whether the issue is a download problem or an underlying application detail.
Do not treat a candidate’s allotted centre as a permanent profile setting. It belongs to the specific exam cycle and can be affected by administrative changes described in the current notice. Recheck the portal shortly before travel, especially if WBJEEB has published a correction or centre update. If the portal and a newer notice appear inconsistent, follow the latest notice and contact the Board rather than choosing between conflicting screenshots.
