LLB is the basic minimum degree in Legal Sector and if you want to do a post-graduate degree after LLB, you can take admission in two-year LLM Course. You can also do Ph.D. in law after this after which you may get opportunities in the field of teaching. After you complete the LLB, you can register in the Bar Council, and you can lodge lawsuits in any court of the country. You can choose any area from Criminal, Revenue or Civil to practice law.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) examination is organized in 18 institutes of the country of India, for studying law. After completion of the exam, a list of students is prepared by removing the cut off and after which the applicants who are selected get admission in LLB course. Many universities and states also conduct exams in their own way at their own level.
