The time has come for those candidates to fulfill their dreams who want to make a career in law. The date of CLAT 2023 has been announced. CLAT Examination will be held on Dec 3, 2023. Candidates will be able to enroll undergraduate LLB and postgraduate LL.M course. There is a written examination for admission in National Law University and 40 other universities. Candidates must take the Common Law Test 2023 exam. CLAT 2023 online registration will begin in the first week of May 2023. And its application will end in the last week of November 2023. Interested candidates can participate in the application process after the application.
CLAT 2023 Exam
As mentioned above Application for CLAT 2023 will begin in May 2023 . According to the latest decision taken in the fourth meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NALSAR) in Hyderabad, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be conducted through offline mode from 2023 . Eligibility Criteria
CLAT 2023 Undergraduate LLB
- Candidates must have 45% marks in the 12th standard.
- SC / ST candidates should have 40% marks in the 12th standard.
- Candidates who will take the 12th examination in 2024Â . Those candidates can also apply.
- Candidates will have to submit evidence of 12th pass. Otherwise, National Law University will cancel the application for that candidate.
CLAT 2023 Post Graduate LLM
- LLB / Five Unified LLB (Hons.) / Equivalent Degree
- Candidates should have 55% marks.
- SC / ST candidates should have 50% marks.
- Candidates who give final year examination will also be able to apply.
- Candidates must submit proof of passing. Otherwise, National Law University will cancel the application for that candidate.
Age limit
In 2017, the Supreme Court’s decision had dismissed an attempt to introduce age limits to the Bar Council. Candidates of all ages can apply for the examination. CLAT 2023 has no upper age limit.

CLAT 2023 Application Form
CLAT 2023 applications will start in May 2023 . Candidates can apply by visiting CLAT ‘s official website. Candidate can apply online only and applications made through any other means will not be considered valid. While applying candidates will have to fill the necessary information carefully. The candidates will also have to pay the application fee for the Examination and any application without depositing the application fee will not be considered complete. Â

- Click on the ‘CLAT 2023 ‘ link on the homepage.
- Fill out the required information.
- Submit the application form after this.
- You will get a unique registration number and password to login in future.
- Take a printout for future use.
Application Process
- The applications for CLAT exams will be filled online only.
- Go to the website (clat.ac.in) and register with your email ID and phone number.
- After entering the registration number and the password, fill in the application after logging in.
- Enter personal details, educational information, parents’ name etc in the form.
- Upload scanned passport size photo, signature, and documents in PDF format.
- Carefully read all the important information in the form carefully.
- Payment of application fee can be done through Net banking or offline mode through bank invoice.
- After the submission of the application, changes will not be made again.
Exam Pattern

- Candidates will be given a total of 2 hours for the examination.
- All questions in the exam will be objective types.
- Question will be of 1 mark.
- There will be a total of 200 questions in the examination.
- There will also be negative marking in the examination. 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

CLAT 2023 Admit Card
Admit Card will be available about a week before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the Admit Card from the official website. Candidates need to enter registration number and password for downloading CLAT 2023 admit card.  Candidates will have to download the Admit Card and take its printout because admission in the examination hall will not be allowed without the Admit Card.
CLAT 2023 Result
Tentatively in the first week of Jan 2024 , the Result shall be uploaded on the official website. Candidates will be able to see their result by entering their roll number and password. A common merit list also will be released. After the result, counseling will start and candidates will be able to participate in it for the further process for admission in National Law University and 40 other prestigious universities.

AIBE 2023 (All India Bar Examination)
All India Bar Examination is a national level examination which is organized every year by Bar Council of India. These exams are for those who have taken a degree in law. Candidates get the proof of ‘Certificate of Practice’ from this examination. A total of 100 questions of the objective type will be asked in this examination. The duration of the examination is 3 hours and 30 minutes. These examinations are conducted in 11 different languages ​​in different states of the country. There are 100 marks prescribed for 100 questions in the examination, but there are no minus markings in the examination. AILET 2023 (All India Law Entrance Test)
Each year, the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is organized by National Law University, New Delhi. Through this examination, admission to the 5-year BA LLB (Hons) is done. Gets   Candidates can take admission in Delhi University’s law program through this exam. Apart from this, many Law College and University accept the scorecard of AILET.
