MAH MBA/MMS CET 2027–28 dates: what is known
The 2027–28 MAH MBA/MMS CET calendar has not been announced in the official sources checked on 27 October 2026. The newest opened examination brochure concerns MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026 for the 2026–27 admission year. It is useful for understanding how the process can change, but its dates are historical. Do not use them as the 2027–28 schedule or book travel around them.
The State CET Cell’s CAP 2026–27 index lists MBA/MMS under Technical Education postgraduate courses and links to the course-specific admission portal. The MBA/MMS page and the CET Cell’s official notices are the places to recheck. The examination schedule and the later CAP admission calendar are separate. A 2027–28 examination date does not by itself tell you when CAP registration, document verification, merit publication, choice filling or allotment will happen.
The previous cycle’s timeline, labelled 2026
The CET Cell’s 2026 information brochure initially listed online registration and application confirmation from 10 January to 12 February 2026. It described payment through 13 February and said the admit-card and examination dates would be notified later. The schedule was expressly provisional and could be changed by a revised official notice.
On 20 February 2026, the CET Cell issued a final extension. The notice kept registration open until 25 February 2026 and gave tentative examination dates of 6–8 April for the first attempt and 9 May for the second attempt. A later notice dated 26 April confirmed 9 May 2026 as the final date of the second attempt. These notices show why candidates should read the latest dated notice rather than rely on the first brochure timetable: an application deadline can be extended and an exam date can move from tentative to final.
The 2026 brochure also said the admit card would be issued through candidate login, with the date to be notified later. It did not provide a fixed result date in the brochure. It said the result announcement date would be notified separately. These are not promised timings for 2027–28. For the upcoming cycle, check the candidate login and CET Cell notices for the actual hall-ticket and scorecard release announcements.
How to read the 2027–28 calendar when it appears
Use one official notice for each milestone, and record its issue date and whether the date is tentative or final. The first announcement may contain a broad schedule; a later notice can extend an application window or confirm an examination date. If two official notices differ, use the later notice only after checking that it applies to MAH MBA/MMS CET and the same attempt and admission year. Do not transfer dates from MHT-CET or another Maharashtra examination just because it is published in the same notice list.
A practical tracker has separate rows for:
- brochure publication and online application opening;
- application close and any correction window;
- fee-payment deadline and whether one or both attempts are selected;
- admit-card availability and the reporting time on the hall ticket;
- each attempt’s examination dates;
- result or scorecard release; and
- MBA/MMS CAP registration, document verification, merit lists, option entry and seat allotment.
A date belongs in your tracker only after a CET Cell notice or the current examination/CAP portal states it. Mark unannounced milestones as “not announced” rather than estimating them from the previous cycle. Save the official PDF or portal confirmation with the tracker entry. This makes it easier to distinguish a tentative schedule from a final date and to identify which notice superseded an earlier one.
Registration and exam-day timing are different
Registration dates are application deadlines, not examination dates. The 2026 final extension notice stated that online registration and application confirmation ended on 25 February. It separately listed the tentative first- and second-attempt examination windows. Candidates should therefore complete the online form by the current deadline even if the examination is weeks later, and should not infer a deadline from an exam date.
Similarly, an examination day listed in a schedule is not a substitute for the reporting time and instructions in the candidate’s hall ticket. The 2026 brochure said the admit card would be available through candidate login and that detailed examination scheduling would be shared later on the State CET Cell website. Check the exact centre, session, reporting time, permitted identification and instructions printed on the current hall ticket. Recheck for official updates before travelling.
Exam dates do not equal admission dates
The 2026–27 CAP index has a separate MBA/MMS admission portal. For 2027–28, wait for its own current-cycle notice before entering an admission deadline in your calendar. After the CET, candidates should separately track the CAP application, document verification, merit list and allotment dates only when the relevant MBA/MMS portal publishes them. Exam registration and a CET score do not complete the admission process.
The current 2026–27 admission notice states that online application filling for MBA/MMS admissions commenced on 2 July 2026. That is one historical example of the gap between the examination and the admission process; it should not be used to forecast a 2027–28 CAP start date. The CET Cell’s course-specific portal should control the current sequence and deadlines.
Official pages to monitor
Start at the State CET Cell homepage, open its MBA/MMS CET page for examination information and the current brochure, and use the CAP index to reach the MBA/MMS admission portal. Keep the relevant official notice, not only a search-result snippet. As of 27 October 2026, the cited official CAP listing is for 2026–27 and the opened brochure is for CET 2026; neither supplies the 2027–28 calendar. The responsible current-cycle dates remain unannounced in the sources checked.
