The 2027 schedule is not published yet
As of 27 October 2026, the State Common Entrance Test Cell’s official material checked for this page describes MHT-CET 2026 and admissions for Academic Year 2026-27. The current CET notice pages do not provide an announced MHT-CET 2027 examination calendar. Dates for 2027 registration, correction, hall tickets, exam sessions, answer key objections, scorecards and CAP must therefore be treated as pending. A predicted month on a coaching site is not an official deadline. Recheck the CET Cell’s official notices and time-table when the next cycle is announced.
This distinction matters because one year’s schedule is not a reliable promise about the next. MHT-CET dates can be revised by notices, and the exam and admission calendars are separate. The entrance examination is managed through the CET examination portal; counselling and seat allotment are administered through programme-specific CAP portals. A student planning engineering, pharmacy and agriculture routes may need to monitor more than one admission portal after the score is released.
Which dates should you watch?
The first milestone is the information brochure and registration notice. Read the notice for the application opening and closing dates, fee payment window, whether the Cell has extended the deadline, and the permitted attempt or group choices. Keep the original notice and every later extension or corrigendum. The effective deadline is the latest official notice that applies to your group, not the date shown in an old calendar image.
Next, watch for correction instructions and document or image requirements. A correction window may permit only selected fields to change. Do not assume that the group, language, category, test city or uploaded evidence can be edited after submission. The 2026 brochure warned candidates to select the question-paper language carefully because that choice could not be altered. Check the new-cycle wording before you submit the form, and resolve spelling or identity mismatches with the issuing authority early.
The Cell usually publishes examination schedules and instructions closer to the test. The 2026 brochure described separate PCM and PCB groups, with a total duration of 180 minutes across the selected group’s papers. That fact helps explain why candidates need to track the group-wise timetable, but it does not establish the 2027 dates or number of sessions. Wait for the official schedule to learn your exam date, shift, reporting time, city and venue. The city preference entered in an application is not the final centre assignment.
After the test, track answer-key and objection notices, result announcements and scorecard availability. Use only the challenge window in the notice if you want to report a suspected question or answer-key issue. Keep the application number, question or response identifiers and proof of submission. When a result notice is released, use the candidate login to retrieve the scorecard. Do not plan CAP choice filling from a predicted result date.
The examination schedule and the admission calendar are different
A CET calendar tells you when the examination process is happening. A CAP schedule tells you when a particular admission process opens and what each applicant must do. For 2026-27, engineering and technology admissions used the FE CAP portal, while B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D admissions used the pharmacy portal. Agriculture and allied courses publish their own materials through the State CET Cell. Each route can have its own registration, document scrutiny, merit list, option or preference form, allotment rounds, seat acceptance and reporting deadlines.
A result date is not the beginning of every CAP action, and one CAP portal’s schedule does not automatically apply to another course. Make a separate calendar after the authorities publish the course-specific timetable. Include the dates for application, document verification, provisional and final merit lists, preference entry, each allotment, acceptance, institute reporting and any vacancy round described in the brochure. Set reminders several days before a deadline and verify the portal again on the day you act.
If you plan to use more than one route, keep a spreadsheet with one row per programme and columns for the official portal, current notice date, registration status, document status, application number, next deadline and receipt location. That reduces the risk of assuming that submitting the MHT-CET examination form also registers you for admission. Examination registration and CAP registration are distinct tasks.
Build a useful watchlist now
Before the 2027 calendar is released, you can prepare a watchlist without guessing dates. Bookmark the official State CET Cell home and time-table pages, then bookmark the CAP portal that matches your course. Use the portal pages to find new brochures, notices, scorecard links and admission documents. When a notice appears, write down the issuing authority, publication date, applicable group or course, the action required and the exact deadline with its time zone or closing time if stated.
Use the 2026 calendar only to identify the kinds of milestones to expect. Do not copy a prior year’s dates into a 2027 planner as if confirmed. If you want to make a provisional planning estimate for school revision or travel, label it clearly as personal planning and leave buffer time. Do not pay for travel, coaching add-ons or document services on the strength of a guessed exam date.
For every deadline, preserve evidence of completion: the submitted form, payment receipt, correction confirmation, hall-ticket download, objection receipt, CAP registration, verified document status, locked option form, allotment and acceptance receipt. If the portal is unavailable near a closing time, use the helpdesk details in the current notice and record the error. A screenshot may support a query, but it does not extend an official deadline by itself.
The most dependable rule is simple: follow the latest applicable notice published by the State CET Cell or the relevant course CAP authority. At the time of writing, 2027 dates remain unannounced. Once the new brochure and schedules appear, use them to replace this provisional watchlist and confirm each action directly on its official portal.
