MHT-CET 2027 registration is not open on the evidence checked
As of 27 October 2026, the State CET Cell material located for this page contains the MHT-CET PCM/PCB application and brochure information for Academic Year 2026-27. No 2027 registration notice was found in the official material checked. Do not use an old application link or assume that a 2027 window is open. Start from the State CET Cell official portal and follow the current MHT-CET examination notice when it is published.
Registration for the entrance test and registration for counselling are separate actions. Submitting the exam form does not place you in an engineering, pharmacy or agriculture CAP merit list. After the result, you must follow the admission portal and brochure for each intended programme. Keep these processes on separate checklists so that an exam application number is not mistaken for a CAP registration.
Before you begin the exam application
First decide which course or courses you may apply to and identify the required group. MHT-CET 2026 allowed PCM, PCB or both, with no transfer of marks between groups. Some programmes accept one group and some listed courses have a different eligibility route. Check course rules before selecting PCM, PCB or both; an extra group may mean an additional fee and preparation burden. The 2027 brochure will control the next cycle.
Prepare identity and academic details exactly as they appear on your certificates. Keep your name, date of birth, parent details, contact information, Class 10 or equivalent records and qualifying-examination information at hand. If a category or candidature claim applies, locate the document that proves it and check its validity, issuing authority, language and format. The form’s ability to accept a category selection does not prove that the claim will pass CAP document verification.
The exact image dimensions, file types, photograph and signature rules, correction options and fee amount must come from the current notice. Do not reuse a prior year’s file-size chart or fee screenshot. If the form gives a preview step, inspect every field and uploaded image before payment. A typo in an identity field or the wrong group may be difficult to repair if the field is excluded from the correction window.
A careful registration sequence
When the official 2027 application window opens, use the link provided by the State CET Cell. Create or access the candidate account using your own contact details, save the application number, and verify that the site is the authorized exam portal. Fill personal and academic information from records rather than memory. Select the group and any permitted attempts, choose the language option carefully, and enter test-city preferences only after reading the available rules.
The 2026 brochure says the question paper for Physics, Chemistry and Biology was offered in English, Marathi or Urdu and warns that the selected language could not be altered after the application was submitted. The 2027 language options and correction rules must be checked in the new notice. Before submitting, review the form on the preview screen and resolve any mismatch in name, date of birth, category or qualifying examination.
Upload the required files in the announced format. Check that text is legible, the photograph is current and the signature is not clipped. Use the portal’s fee payment method and retain the transaction reference. A payment debit without a confirmed submitted application is not proof that registration is complete; check the candidate dashboard for the status and follow the official instructions if the payment is pending or failed.
Download or print the final submitted form and fee receipt. Store copies in two places and note the login credentials securely. Check the dashboard for correction notices, application deficiencies or subsequent instructions. If a correction window is announced, compare each changed field to the permitted list, save the revised confirmation and avoid editing a correct entry unnecessarily.
Fees and deadlines are cycle-specific
The 2026 brochure listed different fees by group, attempt and category, and the Cell later issued registration notices and extensions during the cycle. These prior amounts and dates are useful only as historical evidence that fees and windows can vary. They do not establish the 2027 fee, late fee, opening date or closing date. Read the current bulletin’s fee table before paying, including whether the amount covers one group or both and whether it applies to your category.
Do not wait for the final day to pay. Payment gateways can take time to confirm a transaction, and an extension notice is not guaranteed. If you cannot complete a payment, use the current portal’s official help instructions, record the transaction ID and avoid making repeated payments without checking status. Keep the receipt even after the exam; you may need it when contacting the helpdesk.
What registration does not complete
After the exam form is accepted, keep monitoring the official portal for hall-ticket information and exam instructions. A chosen city preference is not the same as the assigned test centre. Once the result is released, move to the correct course CAP portal. Engineering and technology, pharmacy and agriculture admissions have separate documents and schedules. CAP may require a fresh account, application form, document scrutiny, category evidence, preference entry and separate acceptance of an allotment.
If you are applying under a reserved or special category, read the CAP brochure as closely as the exam brochure. The 2026 technical brochure says applicable category certificates are required at CAP application time for category consideration. A successful exam application does not reserve a category seat, confirm domicile or guarantee a merit position. Make sure your records are current before the admission deadline.
The reliable method is to act only on the current official instructions, save every receipt and confirmation, and maintain separate examination and admission checklists. Until the State CET Cell publishes the 2027 registration notice, treat dates, fees and technical requirements as pending rather than filling them in from an old cycle.
