If you decide to make career as a teacher a degree in education is the first requirement, and to get a degree in education, the first thing which comes in your mind is, from where to do the course? Haryana could be the best option because this state has developed the best infra, methodology and admission process in the field of education. For B. Ed admission in Haryana the process is started. Around 60,000 seats in about 450 education colleges are to be filled.

C R S U Jind Announces Admission in 2 year B.Ed Course

To start the online admissions process to B.Ed. Regular Course for the session 2019-20 in the Education Colleges of Haryana Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University Jind (Haryana) has been declared as the competent authority by the government of Haryana. To know the details the student can download the prospectus containing all details and procedures from the University Website i.e. www.crsu.ac.in or http://www.hrybed.in and http://www.hrybed.net.

Eligibility for B.Ed from Haryana

A student who has secured at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor Degree or in the Master’s Degree of any recognized university or having any other equivalent Qualification are eligible for admission to the programme. if a candidate has done Master’s Degree, then at the time of preparing the merit list, the higher percentage of marks obtained either an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree of the two will be taken into consideration. However, One year PG diploma in any subject will not be considered equivalent to Master’s Degree. There is no upper age limit for applying.

Relaxation

For SC/ST candidates of Haryana state 47.5% marks is needed.

For Physically Handicapped/ Blind / Visually/ Hearing Impaired candidates also 47.5% marks is required.

Rounding off of the percentage of marks to next higher number for determining the eligibility of the qualifying examination will not be done. (49.5% and above will not be rounded off to 50%)

Candidates appeared in compartmental will not be allowed admission in B.Ed. (Regular Course) in any case.

Division of Seats

Half of the total seats (50%) in each college shall be reserved for Group-I i.e. Science & Arts with Maths group students. Other 50% seats shall be reserved for Group-II i.e. Arts & Commerce Group students.

 In case some seats lie vacant in Group-I (Science & Arts with Maths) group shall be converted in Group-II (Arts & Commerce Group) and vice-versa. Such vacant seats of one group will be converted into the same category (Reserved or General) of the other group and if still, these seats remain vacant only then these will be converted into General quota seats.

Reservations

In Govt. / Govt. Aided/ Maintained colleges, seats will be reserved as per the following detail:

  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes 20%
  • Candidates belonging to Backward Classes (A) 16%
  • Candidates belonging to Backward Classes (B) 11%
  •  General Category Economically Backward  10%
  • Candidates  with disability 

Admission Process for B.Ed in Haryana

To fill up the application form, Eligible candidates must visit any of the following websites to apply for Haryana BEd admission for University maintained/ Govt. Aided / Govt. College of Education.

The admission process is online and the students will have to fill the online application form and upload his/her documents to process the application. For this candidates should select Notifications link on the official website, fill online application with all the necessary details required. He /she should fill all the details like Name, Date of Birth and other Details in the correct manner as per the rules. Then he/she should Upload Photo, Signature and other documents which are required. Application Form is also available at post offices and Axis Bank branches. After the student has completed the application form and submitted on the official website then he/she will have to pay the registration fee.

Payment of Application Fees

After successful filling of the online application form, the Payment of Fee shall be deposited. The student can deposit the fee by Online Mode through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/E-Challan. Registration-cum-counselling fee is Rs. 1000/-(Rs. 500/-registration fee plus Rs. 500/- Counselling fee) for General Category candidates and Rs. 625/-(Rs. 125/-registration fee plus Rs. 500/- Counselling fee) for SC/BC/PH candidates of Haryana state. The fee can also be deposited in the Account of CRSU, Jind in any branch of Axis/PNB Bank.

The student will receive a confirmation through e-mail after the payment is done. After the payment is completed, candidates may take a printout of the submitted application and it is advised to keep it with them for future reference.

For Govt./Govt. Aided Colleges the fee is Rs. 12,000/- per year

For Self-Financing College the fee is Rs. 44,000/-

Fee structure given above may be revised by Haryana State Admission & Fee Committee. Other annual fees as prescribed by the CRS University are given below in addition to the above fee:

The selection process for B.Ed

 On the basis of merit of percentage of the Qualifying Examination, admission to B.Ed (Regular) Course for the session will be made through online counseling by C.R.S.U. Jind. If a candidate has done Master’s Degree, then at the time of preparing the merit list, the higher percentage of marks obtained either an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree of the two will be taken into consideration.

DCRUST (Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology): B.Ed and Engineering Colleges of Sonepat and Panipat will come under Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University, Murthal

CDLU (Chaudhary Devi Lal University): Colleges of Sirsa and Fatehabad will remain under Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa as before.

CBLU (Chaudhary Bansilal University): Colleges of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri will remain under Chaudhary Bansilal University, Bhiwani as before.
