Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) at Amity University's Noida campus runs all admissions through the university's centralised online portal (amity.edu). Every programme requires an online application, a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,500, and a selection stage before a seat is offered. Eligibility
- Completed 10+2 from any recognised board, any stream.
- English as a subject at the 10+2 level is mandatory for all applicants.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination for the Non-Sponsored category.
- The Sponsored category accepts candidates who do not meet the 50% Non-Sponsored threshold, at a higher fee.
- Candidates appearing in the Class 12 board examination may apply provisionally; original documents are required before enrolment.
Selection
For most B.Des applicants the selection sequence is:
- Online application with supporting documents and photograph uploaded on the portal.
- Creative Test -- a written-plus-visual assessment covering design aptitude, observation, visualisation, and creative thinking. Slots and mode (online or in-person at the Noida campus) are communicated through the Admission Microsite after registration.
- Personal Interview (PI) -- candidates discuss their portfolio, design interest, and creative approach. Maintaining a portfolio of original work is advisable before the interview stage.
- Merit compilation -- final selection combines Class 12 aggregate, Creative Test performance, and PI score.
Candidates with 80% or above in Class 12 may be considered for direct admission, bypassing the Creative Test requirement, as stated in Amity's published guidelines. This route is subject to seat availability and the university's current-cycle rules, which should be confirmed on the portal at the time of application.

Postgraduate Programmes
M.Des in Fashion and Textiles
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a closely related discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university. Final-year graduation students may apply provisionally.
Selection: Personal Interview, with portfolio review as an integral component. Amity also accepts CUET PG 2026 scores in the Design subject (Subject Code: COQP11) as part of the selection basis for this programme. Candidates who have sat for CUET PG should present their scorecard at the interview stage.
MBA in Fashion Management
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate.
Selection: Score from a recognised national management entrance examination (CAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, NMAT, or CMAT) followed by a Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) on campus or online as scheduled.
Application Steps
- Register on the Amity admissions portal at amity.edu and select the ASFT Noida programme and category (Non-Sponsored or Sponsored).
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. This amount is non-refundable.
- Upload documents through the Admission Microsite: recent passport-size photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm, JPG/PNG/BMP), Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet or proof of appearing, a creative portfolio (for B.Des and M.Des programmes), and a government-issued photo ID.
