Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) at Amity University Noida offers undergraduate design programmes alongside postgraduate study in fashion management and fashion and textiles. The latest captured prospectus gives first-semester amounts, not a full-degree price. It also separates non-sponsored and sponsored fee schedules, so compare the correct column for your admission category.
The 2026 prospectus lists four-year B.Des programmes in Fashion Communication (code 10811), Fashion Design (10817), Fashion Technology (10812) and Textile Design (10810). The first-semester fee is ₹1,05,000 non-sponsored or ₹1,57,500 sponsored for Fashion Communication; ₹1,17,000 or ₹1,75,500 for Fashion Design; and ₹89,000 or ₹1,33,500 for both Fashion Technology and Textile Design. These are programme-specific amounts, not a single ASFT fee.
Eligibility also varies. The prospectus sets a Class XII threshold of 60% non-sponsored and 50% sponsored for Fashion Communication, 55% and 50% for Fashion Design, and 50% for Fashion Technology and Textile Design. Fashion Communication includes a creative test followed by an interview. Confirm the current selection stages for the other programmes in the live application portal before applying; do not assume the same test applies to every design course.
The two-year MBA in Fashion Management (code 10245) requires a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate. Its first-semester amount is ₹2,04,000 non-sponsored or ₹3,06,000 sponsored. Applicants with qualifying test scores may use CAT or XAT (75 non-sponsored / 65 sponsored percentile), NMAT (200 / 150), MAT (500 / 450), GMAT (500 / 450), or CMAT (150 / 100), followed by the selection interview described in the prospectus. These are the prospectus thresholds for the listed category, not a promise of admission.
The two-year M.Design in Fashion & Textiles (code 10990) requires a bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Textiles with 50% aggregate. Its first-semester fee is ₹75,000 non-sponsored or ₹1,12,500 sponsored. Check the live programme listing for the current intake and any changes to eligibility or selection.
The prospectus says fees are charged by semester, with two semesters in an academic year, and indicates an approximately 5% annual increase. It also lists a one-time ₹20,000 academic security deposit. Treat the listed semester fee as the entry-year reference: later semesters may differ, and multiplying the first-semester figure by the programme duration would not produce a reliable total cost. Ask the university for the applicable schedule for your admission year and category before budgeting.
Accommodation is a separate choice. The prospectus lists Noida AC hostel accommodation at ₹1.95 lakh per year plus a ₹15,000 deposit, subject to limited availability and allocation. The amount should not be added to tuition as if it were mandatory for every ASFT student. Confirm room availability, meal arrangements and the applicable hostel tariff directly with the university.
The four undergraduate choices lead into different parts of the fashion sector. Fashion Communication is the option whose published selection explicitly includes a creative test and interview; the other three are listed separately as Fashion Design, Fashion Technology and Textile Design. Use the programme title, code and curriculum page together when deciding which application to make. A lower fee for one course does not make it an equivalent substitute for another: the Technology and Textile Design rows happen to share the same listed first-semester amount, while Fashion Design and Fashion Communication have different amounts and eligibility thresholds.
There is a consistent category difference in the captured 2026 table: each sponsored first-semester amount is 1.5 times its non-sponsored counterpart. That is a calculation from the six published category pairs (for example, ₹1,33,500 divided by ₹89,000 for B.Des Fashion Technology). It describes this prospectus table only. It does not mean the university will use the same ratio in a later intake, nor does it change the separate eligibility requirements. If your offer category is unclear, ask the admissions office to identify it in writing before comparing totals.
At postgraduate level, check whether the prior degree meets the exact subject rule before comparing the fee. The MBA accepts a bachelor’s degree with the stated aggregate threshold and lists management entrance tests; the M.Design specifies a Fashion or Textiles bachelor’s degree. They are different routes with different prerequisites, so a common two-year duration does not make their entry conditions interchangeable.
Start with the exact programme code and fee category in your offer. Ask whether the semester-one price is the amount payable now, which deposits are refundable, and when later semester invoices are issued. The prospectus mentions an approximate annual increase, but the amount for every future semester is not guaranteed by the first-semester table. Do not present a multiplied figure as a university quote: annual revisions, deposits and optional residence can change the actual outlay.
Make separate lines in your own budget for tuition, one-time academic security, hostel charges and hostel deposit. The listed ₹1.95 lakh hostel figure is annual and refers to Noida AC accommodation; it is not a compulsory addition to every student’s tuition. Ask whether a room is available for your intake, whether the quoted amount covers the chosen room and meal arrangement, what payment dates apply, and how each deposit is treated if you withdraw. If you plan to commute or arrange housing independently, leave hostel costs out of the university tuition comparison and budget those arrangements separately.
Before accepting, request the current fee document for your intake rather than relying on an older screenshot or an informal estimate. Save the prospectus version and the written offer together. This makes it easier to reconcile the course, category, semester and any later revision if the live portal changes.
Use the programme code and category when asking for a written fee breakdown. Confirm tuition by semester, deposits, annual revisions, hostel charges if needed, and the refund rules that apply to your offer. The figures here come from the 2026 prospectus and can change; they are a planning reference for that published schedule, not a quotation for a later intake.
