The 2027–28 admit-card release is not confirmed yet
As checked on 27 October 2026, the official KEAM material opened for this guide is for the 2026 cycle. It does not establish a 2027–28 admit-card release date, download link, exam centre, or test session. CEE’s 2026 prospectus said admit cards would be downloaded from its official website and that the venue and timetable would be printed on the card. Wait for the next prospectus and a current CEE notice before planning travel or assuming a date.
Use the official Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala website and candidate portal. Do not trust a message that asks you to pay an unofficial agent to download a hall ticket or asks for your password by email. In 2026, candidates entered their application number and password to download the admit card, and the prospectus said cards would not be sent by post. Keep the login details private and use a device you trust. Save the downloaded PDF and retain a printed copy if the current notice instructs you to bring one.
Resolve application defects before the download window closes
The 2026 prospectus said a rejected application would be shown in the candidate portal. It also said defects would appear there, with correction due within the dates stated in the notification connected to admit-card download. No postal defect memo was promised. For the new cycle, check the portal well before the announced release and again after any correction. If the portal flags a document, use the listed defect description and upload the requested proof in the specified format. A successful submission acknowledgement does not guarantee that the application has passed every check.
Once the 2027–28 card is available, verify your name, application and roll number, photograph, exam date, session, centre address, reporting time, and course paper. Check these details against your own application. If a spelling or identity issue appears, contact CEE through the current official help route immediately; do not edit the card or rely on an informal correction. Save the notice and any response so you can show what was reported.
Test-day documents and centre rules from 2026
The 2026 Engineering examination instructions required candidates to report two hours before the examination began. They listed the admit card, an authorised original photo ID, and a simple transparent ballpoint pen as permitted items. The prospectus named examples of government-issued photo identification, including PAN, driving licence, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar with photograph, and certain school or ration-card documents. Candidates without a valid admit card and authorised photo ID were not permitted to sit the test. These are prior-cycle instructions; follow the next cycle’s notice if the accepted ID list or reporting period changes.
The 2026 instructions prohibited items including calculators, digital watches, phones, earphones, books, notes, and loose paper. CEE said rough-work sheets would be supplied in the hall and had to be returned. Arrive with only the items expressly permitted for your session. Check the card’s centre and route in advance, allow for entry checks, and keep the original ID with you rather than packing it in luggage. The hall ticket controls your exact venue and timing; a centre shown in an old application screenshot is not enough.
A short checklist after download
- Download the card only from the current CEE candidate portal using your application number and password.
- Read every page and verify the personal details, course paper, date, session, centre, and reporting instructions.
- Print or save the card as the current notice requires. Keep the original valid photo ID that matches the permitted list.
- Confirm the travel plan and arrival time using the actual centre address on your card.
- Check CEE notices for updates, corrections, and permitted materials before leaving for the test.
The 2026 documents are useful for understanding the download and test-day process, but the 2027–28 card and notice will control. No future release date, reporting time, permitted-ID list, or centre has been announced in the sources opened for this guide. Recheck the CEE portal rather than treating the historical examples as current instructions.
