Wait for the 2027–28 CEE calendar
As of 27 October 2026, the CEE materials opened for KEAM still describe the 2026 cycle. I found no official 2027–28 prospectus, application deadline, exam schedule, result date, or CAP calendar in the sources checked. Do not reuse 2026 dates to book travel or decide a future deadline. Begin broad preparation if useful, then fill in exact dates only when CEE publishes the next prospectus or a later notice.
The 2026 timetable shows why candidates need to follow updates. The prospectus initially listed applications from 5 January, an application and fee deadline of 31 January, documents through 7 February, and an examination window in April. The exam dates in that initial summary were later operationalized: the prospectus’s detailed schedule and CEE’s answer-key index identify Engineering sessions from 17 through 23 April, Pharmacy sessions on 18–20 April, and buffer days around the schedule. These are historical 2026 facts, not a proposed 2027 calendar. A later official notice can amend the first prospectus schedule, so compare the notice date and the action it changes.
Keep application, exam and allotment dates separate
KEAM involves several deadlines: online application and payment, document upload or correction, a course-specific entrance examination or external score, rank-list publication, option registration, allotment, and reporting. They do not all open together. CEE’s 2026 prospectus required online option confirmation before each allotment phase unless the authority notified otherwise. Missing a CAP step can matter even after taking the entrance examination, so do not stop checking notices when the exam ends.
Use a tracker with the action, official source, latest announced date, and confirmation you saved. Keep CEE’s prospectus and notification feed open alongside your candidate portal. The portal handles personal application details and defects; public notices announce common dates and changes. If an amendment changes a deadline, record the new date and follow that notice. Search snippets, coaching calendars and a copied 2026 date table are useful leads at most, not the controlling source for the next cycle.
Course choice changes which calendar applies
The 2026 prospectus separated Engineering and Pharmacy computer-based examination sessions. Architecture applicants used NATA dates set by the Council of Architecture. Medical and medical-allied candidates used NEET-UG and then had CEE’s state admission steps to track. CEE may publish rank lists and allotment phases at different times for different streams. If you apply for more than one course group, keep separate reminders for each responsible examination authority and for CEE’s later admission notices.
CEE’s 2026 answer-key index is a practical example of a dated official record: it lists Engineering keys beginning 17 April and separate Pharmacy morning sessions on 18, 19 and 20 April. Hall tickets and notices, not a general exam calendar, determine a candidate’s exact session and centre. For any external test, check that test authority’s current schedule as well as CEE’s requirements for using the score.
Where to check and what to retain
Start at the CEE Kerala website, then open the new KEAM prospectus, notification feed, and the candidate portal. The 2026 portal directed applicants to register, complete the form, pay online, upload documents, and retain the acknowledgement. Follow the new form’s instructions when published. Save your acknowledgement, payment confirmation, hall ticket, external score record, rank-list notice, submitted options, allotment order, and reporting receipt.
If payment status is unclear, check the portal’s payment status before paying again and follow the current instructions. The 2026 prospectus allowed one application for any or all covered courses; do not create a second application just because a page was slow to load. Contact CEE through the help route listed in the current prospectus if the transaction or deadline remains uncertain.
For 2027–28, leave exact dates blank until announced, reserve time for document checks and later option registration, and revisit CEE’s notices as the cycle progresses. The newest date confirmed in this research is a 2026 notice, not a future-cycle deadline.
