JEE Main 2021, the country’s largest engineering entrance examination will be conducted in two shifts between 23 to 26 February at 331 examination centers in India and abroad.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has granted concession in admission eligibility for NITs and IIITs in the academic session 2020-21. Notice has also been issued regarding this. This time, students will get a lot of benefit in giving JEE Main 2021, the country’s largest engineering entrance exam.
In February, this examination will be conducted in two shifts between 23 and 26 February at 331 examination centers in India and abroad. Through this exam, 33655 seats of 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIs will be filled.
According to the NTA, only 12th pass students can qualify for JEE Main 2021 and take admission in NIT and IIIT. However, in this regard, it has been conveyed by the Union Ministry of Education on 21 January.
12th board eligibility concession will be given to the students of the 12th board who have appeared for the years 2019 and 2020 and who take the exam in 2021. JEE Main 2021 February admit card is likely to be released in two-three days.
Career Counseling Expert Manoj Kr Jha told that more than 11 lakh students sit for the JEE Main 2021 exam every year. Through this examination, IITs also get admission in 33,655 seats in 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 GFTIs in the country.
In such a situation, NTA has issued a public notice related to the concession in admission eligibility of NIT, TripleIT, according to which only 12th pass students can qualify for JEE Main 2021 this year and get admission in NIT, IIIT. This eligibility concession will be valid only for the session 2021-22.
However, in this regard, the Ministry of Education has also been made aware on 21 January, but, NTA has issued a public notice on Monday afternoon.
The students of the 12th board who have given the examinations in the year 2019 and 2020 and the students of the 12th board, who have taken the exam in 2021, will be benefited from the concession in 12th board eligibility.
The admit card of JEE Main 2021 February is likely to be released in two-three days. Through the admit cards, students will be able to know their scheduled exam date, time, and examination center.
Correction to the uploaded image in JEE Main 2021
During the application, students who have any difference in the uploaded image are given the last opportunity to make corrections in their uploaded image.
Such students will be able to upload their new images by visiting the link given on the website of JEE Main. The discrepancy of images by NTA is indicated on the Candidate Portal of the students.
