Course: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4-year program with a 6-month internship.
The essential qualification for admission: A candidate must have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks in Chemistry, Biology, and physics. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age when applying for the course. Entry in this course depends on the candidate’s eligibility and performance in the entrance examination.
2. Occupational Therapy
Professional medical treatment focuses on helping people achieve independence in all areas of their life. Occupational Therapist can help children with different needs, improve their cognitive, physical and motor skills and can enhance their self-esteem and a sense of achievement.
A professional therapist physically rehabilitates the disabled and mentally retarded persons. This kind of treatment has been provided through the involvement of various activities such as handicraft, manual and activities of industrial arts, entertainment, and daily life.
Course: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) is a 4-year program with a 6-month internship.
The essential qualification for admission: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It is compulsory to apply for all the candidates in the entrance examination for admission to the BOT graduate program.
3. Radiography
A diagnostic test is done through radiation in radiography which includes X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, and MRI etc. A radiographer works with the medical team.
Course: Students who have passed out of science stream can do B.Sc in radiography course. Apart from this, the certificate and diploma courses are also available.

4. Medical Laboratory Technology
Medical Laboratory Technology is also called Clinical Laboratory Science. There are diagnostics and diseases related tests. It comes in the field of Clinical Technologies, Micro Biology, Blood Bank and Immunology. Medical Lab Technologists do the work related to the routine test under the guidance of technologist and supervisor in the Medical Technician Laboratory.
5. Optometry
Under it, the structure of the human eye and its functioning method is studied and the initial symptoms of the eyes, the use of lenses and other problems are tested. You can do a degree or diploma course in optometry. In this, Bachelor of Clinical Optometry, Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques comes in the main course.
6. Pharmacist
There are steps to create pharmaceutical products, develop pharmaceutical production methods and quality control. Pharmacists can work in drug manufacturing companies, private or government institutions related to research, dispensaries and medical stores. Pharmacists also work on the delivery of medicines written by doctors. Pharmacists can also work as a medical representative.
Course: Diploma in pharmacy is a two years course and period of B Pharmacy is four years. M Pharma is the master’s degree which is of two years. Further one can go for Doctoral degree Pharm D.
