The COMEDK UGET admit card is called the Test Admission Ticket, or TAT, in COMEDK’s 2026 brochure. For the completed 2026 cycle, candidates downloaded it from the applicant login; COMEDK did not send a hard copy by email, post or courier. As of 27 October 2026, the official material reviewed does not announce a 2027 release date. The 2026 ticket rules below are historical and should be checked against the next cycle’s brochure and the candidate’s live login.
Where and when the 2026 TAT was available
The 2026 calendar listed 30 April at 2 pm as the start of the TAT download period. The exam was held on 9 May, which the calendar also listed as the last date to download the ticket. Candidates had to use their own login credentials, download the document and print it. The brochure says the ticket was required for entry and had to be retained through counselling and completion of admission. It is sensible to save a digital copy as a backup, but the printed copy required by the official instructions remained necessary.
The TAT carried details that controlled the candidate’s test-day arrangements: the assigned test centre, timing or slot, identity document information and instructions. COMEDK stated that session and centre allocation was done through computer-assisted randomisation and that the slot would be communicated through the TAT. It did not allow requests to change the allotted city or slot under the 2026 instructions. Check the exact institution and campus address, not just the city name; the brochure noted that some colleges used as centres had more than one campus in the same city.
What to verify before travelling
After downloading a future ticket, compare the printed information with the application record. Check the name and photograph, test city, centre address, reporting time, session, ticket or application number, and the identity document specified. If a detail is wrong or the file does not appear in login, use the official helpdesk route immediately and retain evidence of the issue. Do not rely on an old screenshot, an unofficial notice or a prior-year release date to infer the current status.
The official brochure instructed candidates to bring a printout of the TAT and the original photo identity document named in the application. It also required two recent colour passport-size photographs matching the uploaded photograph, with the candidate name and TAT number written on the back. The brochure recommended reporting 90 minutes before the test begins and warned that entry would not be allowed after the reporting time printed on the ticket. Arriving early leaves time for identity checks and locating the assigned hall; it does not alter the official reporting cut-off.
COMEDK advised candidates not to bring personal computational devices, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones or other electronic gadgets. The brochure said the centre could not provide safe storage for them. Candidates should follow the current ticket and notice for permitted items, since security instructions can change. Prepare the original ID, printed ticket and matching photographs the night before. Check the centre route and travel time, and avoid assuming that a familiar college name points to the correct campus.
If the TAT is unavailable or has a discrepancy
The 2026 brochure directs candidates to applicant login for the online ticket and advises checking the website for updates before leaving for the test. If login access is lost, attempt the official recovery flow early. If the ticket is missing despite eligibility and completed application steps, contact COMEDK through the helpdesk listed on the official site. Provide the application number and a clear description of the issue. Do not share passwords, OTPs or identity documents through social-media messages or an unofficial “download” page.
If the centre, slot or identity data appears inconsistent, compare the ticket with the submitted application and contact the official helpdesk while there is time to receive an answer. The brochure states that candidates would not be admitted without the printed online TAT and the original photo ID. It also says there would be no re-examination for a candidate unable to appear on the scheduled date. This makes early review and travel planning more important than last-minute troubleshooting.
Keep the ticket after the test
The TAT was not only an entry document. COMEDK instructed candidates to retain it for counselling and until the admission process was complete. Keep the ticket with the application acknowledgement, score card and qualifying-examination records. If your rank permits participation, the counselling process follows separately through the candidate login. The TAT does not itself register a candidate for counselling or allot a seat.
For a future examination, the official release date and instructions remain unannounced until a new schedule appears. Use COMEDK’s current UGET page and applicant login, then follow the exact instructions on the ticket. Treat the 30 April 2026 release date as a historical reference only.
