COMEDK UGET registration for the 2026 examination is closed. As of 27 October 2026, the official material reviewed here does not provide a 2027 application link, fee or deadline. The instructions below explain the completed 2026 process so applicants can prepare their records, but every amount and date must be checked against the next official brochure before use. The application is completed online through COMEDK’s official site; do not submit personal information or payment through an unofficial form.
The 2026 application sequence
COMEDK’s 2026 instructions asked candidates to register on the official website, receive login credentials and complete the online application form. The form required personal and academic details, selection of a test city, document uploads and online fee payment. After submitting payment through the gateway, candidates were instructed to log in again and verify that the payment status was successful. Keep a copy of the submitted form, transaction acknowledgement and credentials. A bank debit by itself does not prove the application is complete if the candidate login still shows an unsuccessful or pending status.
The 2026 application opened on 3 February at 2 pm. The original closing time of 16 March at noon was extended first to 20 March at noon and then to 23 March at 4 pm. COMEDK’s page showed both extensions, demonstrating that a calendar can be revised by an official notice. The final date for that cycle is historical; it is not a deadline for the next application. Candidates should avoid waiting for a possible extension and complete a future form before the current published cut-off.
Fee choice and payment
For the 2026 PCM engineering option, COMEDK listed an application fee of ₹1,950 for COMEDK UGET alone and ₹3,200 for the combined COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE option. Transaction or internet-handling charges could be added depending on payment method. COMEDK stated that the application fee was non-refundable and that the fees for COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE were independent. The combined option was not a combined admission process: each organisation produced its own result document and used its own participating institutions and later counselling route. Check the amount and option description displayed in a future live form before authorising payment.
The 2026 page listed online payment by debit card, credit card or net banking. The payment gateway showed applicable transaction charges before completion. Once redirected to the gateway, follow its steps, return to the application login and confirm the payment status there. Save the receipt and any transaction reference. If money is debited but the application remains incomplete, use the official helpdesk instructions rather than paying repeatedly without checking the recorded status.
Complete the details carefully
COMEDK warned that the information entered would be used for later processes and that incomplete or incorrect applications could be rejected. The 2026 brochure required mandatory supporting documents and said applications without them could be rejected. Read the new cycle’s file specifications before preparing images. Use clear, current documents and ensure names and academic details agree with official records. If your name, date of birth or marksheet has a discrepancy, resolve it through the stated process before submission where possible.
The 2026 correction window was 10 April at 2 pm to 13 April at 2 pm. It allowed changes to selected information, including photograph and signature uploads, category details and academic entries. COMEDK excluded critical or unique items such as the applicant’s name, email address, mobile number and test-city choice. The correction facility was therefore a limited safety net, not an invitation to submit an incomplete form. Once a candidate submitted the permitted edits, COMEDK said later requests to change the information would not be entertained.
The test-city choice also needs attention. COMEDK reserved the right to allocate another city if a selected city was unavailable or cancelled; the assigned centre and session were shown on the Test Admission Ticket. Requests to change a city or slot after allocation were not entertained under the 2026 instructions. Enter preferences carefully, then plan travel around the ticket actually issued rather than the preference list.
Before submitting and after payment
Use a short verification pass before final submission: check identity and contact fields character by character; compare academic entries with the marksheet; confirm that the correct COMEDK-only or combined option is selected; review the test-city preferences; verify each uploaded file against the instructions; and make sure payment completes. Download the acknowledgement and confirm the status in the login. During the official correction window, revisit only those fields COMEDK permits and save the final version.
The application is only the entrance-test step. The 2026 process required a separate counselling registration and payment after results for candidates seeking COMEDK seats. A completed examination form did not register a candidate for seat selection automatically. Keep the application number and password accessible after the test; COMEDK used applicant login for the Test Admission Ticket, results and counselling registration. Do not confuse the examination fee with the later counselling registration charge or institutional tuition. The next cycle’s registration, deadline, fee and correction rules remain unknown until COMEDK publishes them. Start from the official UGET notification page, read the current brochure from beginning to end, and use the live applicant portal for the final instructions.
